About Rob Slee

Rob Slee is the author of two influential business books: Private Capital Markets and Midas Managers.

For the last 20 years, he has provided investment banking services to thousands of privately owned businesses. Rob has authored more than 100 articles on finance and strategy for private businesses.

Private Capital Markets was published two years ago. It was the first work to explore and describe the field of private finance in an integrated and comprehensive way. It is now considered the seminal work in its field.

Rob is a board member of numerous professional associations and private companies. He owns equity positions in a variety of mid-sized private businesses. Rob is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate from Miami University, and received a Master's degree from the University of Chicago and an MBA from Case Western Reserve University. But he is probably best known as Jen and Jessie Slee’s dad, his identical twins.
